Individual counselling helps you break free from self-doubt and unhealthy dynamics to build confidence and create secure, lasting connections.

If you keep finding yourself in the same frustrating relationship patterns it’s time to take a closer look.

You don't have to keep feeling this way!

You deserve relationships that feel secure, fulfilling, and truly supportive—beginning with the one you have with yourself.

You struggle to set boundaries, say no, or stand up for yourself without feeling guilty.

Expressing your feelings and needs feels impossible—you often feel unheard or misunderstood.

You're navigating a breakup or divorce and need support to heal, rebuild confidence, and move forward.

You keep falling into the same unhealthy relationship patterns and want to break the cycle for good.

Relationship anxiety has you overthinking, seeking constant reassurance, or questioning where you stand.

You’re ready to grow and work on yourself to build healthier, more secure connections.

Individual Therapy Is Right for You If…

Imagine feeling confident in yourself, clear on what you need, and secure in your connections.

Right now, you might be tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns or struggling to have the fulfilling relationships you want.

Maybe you’ve tried counselling before and got lots of insight—but no real change.

The truth is, breaking free from unhealthy patterns takes more than just understanding them. It takes deep work that connects your present struggles to past wounds and helps you process through them.

We won’t just talk about what’s not working—we’ll work through it. Together, you’ll learn to create space between your automatic reactions so you can choose how you want to show up in your close relationships.

How many sessions will I need?

The length of counselling varies among individuals. Individuals with specific concerns may need fewer sessions, but achieving lasting change often requires a minimum of 6 months of therapy.

It's normal to feel strong emotions when discussing tough topics or trying new behaviours, especially in couples counselling. I’m here to support you, prevent things from spiralling, and ensure your emotional safety during our sessions.

Are there any risks to counselling?

The A’s to Your Q’s

How long are individual counselling sessions?

Individual sessions are typically 50 minutes. Longer sessions can be made available upon request.

I use evidence-based methods like EMDR, Client-Centered, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. My trauma-informed approach focuses on emotions and attachment. I understand how early relationships shape adult dynamics and use emotions to break through stuck patterns, guiding you to understanding and healing.

What approaches do you use?

Do I need my partner to be in Relationship Therapy to get the benefits?

No, you don't need your partner to be in therapy for you to benefit. Therapy can help you work on yourself, which will ultimately improve your relationship. It's also a safe place to explore issues you might not be ready to discuss with your partner, like thinking about separation.

Do you offer premarital counselling?

Yes, I offer premarital counselling. I'm a big believer in early intervention, as it has the highest success rate in couples therapy. My services are tailored to your relationship stage and unique goals.

How is EMDR used in Relationship Counselling?

EMDR in relationship counselling helps couples deal with past issues affecting their relationship. It reduces triggers like relationship anxiety, helping partners respond more thoughtfully. It also assists in processing grief from past relationships, and addresses barriers to intimacy, such as sexual blocks.

Relationship Counselling is for individuals working on themselves—whether to address past relationship baggage, understand patterns, or gain clarity in a current relationship.
Couples Counselling is for committed partners who want to work on their relationship together.

Relationship therapy and relationship counselling are often used interchangeably.
